I go to Hobby Lobby whenever I can. I enjoy looking over their model kit selection and I buy several when they have their 40% off sales. This is one of the kits that I bought back in 2024. The original price was $40.99. I won't pay any more than $20 or so for model kits. So when they have a decent sale, I snap up a few for winter projects.

This kit features a 1953 Ford pickup truck and includes a race car hauler trailer. There's also a few tools and a tire rack. This kit is from AMT and is kit number 1310/12. It was issued in 2022 and is skill level 2. The kit is in 1:25th scale and has 239-pieces. It can be built one of three ways: stock, service or custom. It also comes with two engines: a stock Ford flathead or a Hemi. It appears to be a cool model to build. So let's get started.
